God has not been just to many of us, and only humans can help fellow human beings. In 1995, the Government of India had described "handicapped" as a person holding on or more of the following disabilities :

1. Being Blind
2. Being Deaf / Dumb
3. Physically Handicapped
4. Mentally Retarded

Our institution helps in the upliftment of the physically handicapped. There are about 70 Million physically handicapped in India, out of which 4.5 Lac are in Gujarat, about 11,000 in Surat District and more than 1,280 dwelling in the slums of Surat City. Such people besides being physically handicapped, are also born in families which face hardships of survival. With such factors, even their parents cease on taking care of their children who are born physically handicapped. Our institution believes on providing education to such children and helping them live a life which doesn't dwell on the anybody's kindness or sympathy.

I believe that with even God himself would like to see all their children be treated equally. We have taken children aged 6 years and above in our institution, and have been providing education and love to them. By doing so even they do not feel left out in this world nor do they feel helpless but on the contrary we increase their self confidence, which helps them face the hardships of life. Currently we have about 252 of such special children who are taken from various places and are all been loved by us.

But we have a dream, a dream that shall help us provide a better life to many more children who have are physically handicapped and make them live a better life. For fulfilling such a dream, we require a hostel consisting of

• Boarding room having a minimum of a table, a bed, a wheelchair, an attached bathroom

• A playground for recreation purpose.

• A dinning hall, for all the students, which shall provide at least 2 full nutritious meals along with snacks.

• A hall for cultural activities.

• A library providing good literature for the children.

• A physiotherapy room, which shall help to strengthen them, including a swimming pool

• School which shall be providing education to them.

The institute shall be providing at least 500 students a better reason to live, and by doing so , it shall be the first institute of its kind in entire Gujarat.

The school shall be giving education to children from age 6 to 17 years, upto Std. 12

Besides that children from age 18-25 years shall be given proper training in various industrial fields, so that they can lead a normal life. We need to make such an institute which will provide the training to more than 150 students.

Many of us have seen and experience the traumatic scenes of seeing many dead bodies lying in public places, with no one to claim nor to at least cremate them. The reason being - Physically Handicapped. Even Old Age Homes, do not take people who are physically handicapped, just because they do not want to take their responsibility.

I have a dream to help such needy old people, by creating a Old Age Home for the Physically Handicapped, which shall thrive on providing a peaceful life to more than 500 of such needy people without any racial nor religious discrimination.
